aussie politics test

it's always interesting to compare your self-view against an objective test. hence, i took the 'australian politics test'. i would have described my politics as left wing and therefore it was a surprise to me to find that on all indicators (political, economic, social policy & traditional values) i fall in the realm of 'centre left'.

in order, the parties to which i'm most closely aligned are:

the greens (82.3%)
australian democrats (76.4%)
ALP (66.7%)
family first (50%)
liberals (44.3%)
national party (37.9%)
one nation (24.2%)

anyhoo.. for anyone interested/bored enough to have a look at my results, click here

scary
came out most aligned to "family first" which is scary, as I was most opposed to religion and politics when they emerged as a party... (i think it's almost impossible to be a politician and still uphold your religious beliefs. a politician represents society and it would be hard to follow god and serve the electorate if they went against your beliefs...)
